SAN MATEO COUNTY EVENT CENTER VISITORS INFORMATION
We hope you enjoy your visit to the San Mateo County Event Center, we are conveniently located at the crossroads of the 101/92 and 280 Freeways, just 10 minutes south of the San Francisco International Airport.
We are also walking distance from the Hillsdale Caltrain Station.
San Mateo County is located at the North end of the Silicon Valley and just South of San Francisco bordering the Pacific Ocean with miles of pristine coastline to the Bay.
From local gourmet creations featuring the fresh catch of the day to unique shopping experiences, we have all the ingredients to make the most of your time. With so much to see and do, San Mateo County is easy to get to but very hard to leave.
Within walking distance to the Event Center you will find shops and restaurants along 25th Avenue and El Camino.
Pedestrian access is available from Delaware Street at Gate 3 for convenience; that allows patrons to access our South Parking lot from the Delaware side of our property for those taking public transportation and parking off-site. Gate 3 provides pedestrian access to patrons from Delaware into our parking lot, while still providing security as it does not access the interior of the property.

San Mateo offers a wide variety of retail shops and dining. From Hillsdale Shopping Center, the largest regional shopping center in San Mateo County with over 130 stores and restaurants, to 25th Avenue, Downtown San Mateo, and El Camino Real with their smaller, more eclectic choice of shopping and dining.
Downtown San Mateo
Downtown San Mateo is located between Tilton and 9th Avenue and between Delaware Avenue and El Camino Real. With over 800 businesses and beautiful historic buildings, as well as a Century 12 movie theater, Downtown San Mateo is a unique place to shop, dine and enjoy.

Hillsdale Shopping Center
Hillsdale Shopping Center is one of the Bay Area’s finest retail destinations, featuring Apple Store, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and over 100 additional specialty shops and boutiques such as Bebe and The Body Shop.

This is a higher-end neighborhood center in San Mateo across Highway 101. Park Place Plaza features Whole Foods Market, Peets Coffee and the Habit Burger Grill. Located at Saratoga Drive and Park Place.
Bridgepointe Shopping Center
Bridgepointe Shopping Center is located at Mariner’s Island off Highway 92 between Highway 101 and the San Mateo Bridge. Bridgepointe Shopping Center features retail, dining, office, hotel and residential uses. Bridgepointe Shopping Center has several major stores including Target, Old Navy, Home Depot, Bed, Bath & Beyond and more.
